Community Engagement Framework

Community and stakeholder engagement plays an essential role in supporting the outcome of many of the City of Coquitlam’s projects, policies and plans.

The City of Coquitlam is developing a Community Engagement Framework to ensure that how, when and why we engage with the public is consistent, accessible and inclusive, and that diverse perspectives are encouraged and considered in the City’s decision-making processes.

Your feedback and ideas will help us to better understand our community’s experiences with and attitudes towards the City’s community engagement activities.

By community engagement, we are specifically referring to how the City involves the public in its decision-making process.

How to Get Involved

• Share an idea on how you think Coquitlam could get more people involved in the decision-making process
• Contact City staff with questions, feedback, or if you require special assistance to participate at engagement@coquitlam.ca
